2ND AGAIN YESTERDAY but you pays your money and you takes your chances.
Anyhow, I have a set of rules I apply to all possible selections and this should help improve most selection plans.
Only bet in races if the going is up to a soft 5 but include dirt or synthetic tracks as they are less affected by rain , in fact, they can sometimes be more firm when wet.
Favourites are more likely to win over shorter distances hence look at races from 1000 to 1299 (less than 1300 metres) That rule should also supply to most runners. By the way, I am not saying your selection has to be favourite, I just find that looking at what makes a favourite a favourite also makes any runner with these qualifications a better possibility.
Look at horses only to age 7 and leave the 2yos alone.
Look at runners that are 1st up and this run is no worse than 3rd up. This is where the best results come from in for this group of horses.
Look at runners that have won or placed in BOTH of their previous two races. This means of course, that your selection must have already had at least two starts.
Finally, always get the best possible price e.g. Best Of The Best with Vicbet. Its the only one that does this for all mainland races.
