Had an interesting call from Brett last night. He started a new Powerplay set yesterday and got right to the last race of the series before a bust when the two eligible runners at Launceston were $25 and $20 so combined % of 9%. Wow. When Merve Decides won at $26 it was as big a bonanza as you could get. Ive had many experiences when a series is lost and the next winner comes one or two races later when your outlay is at a minimum.
The Market 2/3 plan yesterday had no problems whatsoever with just 16 eligible races and 6 winners and likely closing three series along the way.
So Far only 106 people have had a look at our Golden Slipper and All Star Mile. That’s not too many people looking for another winner after the $124 winner last weekend. I suppose punters assume that I probably wont be able to find another winner so soon. I hope they are wrong.
