Many of our subscribers have been with us for years and many have become friends. One of those is Dennis Howe who lives just a few doors from us. One day about three years ago he started having memory lapses. Turned out he had a brain tumour but it was at first managed and then the management failed and last night he passed away. Fortunately there was no pain. It was a valuable lesson to us and so we have been trying to fit in all those things we still have to do. Because you never know what comes next. Even during his initial recovery Dennis still liked to follow the horses, he had shares in a few. He and I are the same age, still young.
