I only found one early race suitable for a C Plan yesterday and that was race1 at Mackay. As it hapenned the $2.80 favourite missed the jump by several lengths and used up all its energy chasing the field. Our 2nd choice won and with a top fluc of $9.5 returned a generous profit equivalent to $2.40 .
Oh if only we could find something like that today but I have nothing to offer due to a preponderance of wet tracks. It was good to see we picked up a nice result last Sunday. Happy to take it except I wasn’t there to do it, too busy watching the Western Bulldogs and Carlton games to see who would make the final 8. This weekend will be quieter with no games (AFLW starts I believe) til the following week where all the games will be of interest.
Hopefully the Rosehill track recovers from yesterdays storms which dropped the track to a soft 6 but with no more rain forecast before Saturday a Good 4 is a real possibility for the Group Racing which is starting to heat up.
Tomorrow we have Sky Diamonds in Wagga but unlikely to accept unless we miss out on a start at Rosehill Saturday, our preferred option. That said she would go close in Wagga against weaker opposition.
Just as an aside, it now costs us $20 to send out hard copy books so thanks Australia Post. No free watches for Ros and Garry. We’ve probably spent over a million dollars in postage over the years.
Anyhow, I hope to do a video on Rosehill races later today or tonight. You can check the video box below on the website or see the link in our Enews going out tomorrow.
