Yes we often get asked “what do you do when you have a delaqyed race, protest etc. asbout your next bet especially if you are using a staking program. Well manually you will have an assumption about the result, and if you think about the possible result you will have a fair idea about nthe next bet. For example, in MOney Factory, the next bet is the same if you have a winner that will not be big enough to clear the bank and profit goal so in that case simply bet the next race the same size. If you expect to have lost you can “guess” the next bet size. Computers can’t do that and so yesterday when Mackay races were delayed, our Ebot stopped betting waiting for the reuslt of the postponed race at Mackay. We missed about half a dozen races before I realised. We won the Mackay race anyway but it could have cost us big winners. As it happened two other vdelayed races, one a protest involving only placed horses, stopped the Ebot from plaing bets on two $20+ winners. It hurt, especially since we had a bad run late in the day. Manually this particular strategy I was running was a big winner but with the Ebot a big loser. Overall it wont change much as the Ebot is set to recover the position anyway, it is just bit frustrating that instead of being $2,000+ in front we are currently $900 behind. Our other regular strategies are in front as usual. Our Winform Daily Mail had ten races on the program and we found the winner in 7 of those but not a winning result. Four Quinellas totalling $102.40 just covered our outlay. Trifectas only recovered half our cost. TODAY MOST TRACKS ARE HEAVY so not a great betting day ahead but those tracks that are Good should be enough for us as we will still get more venues than tomorrow or Tuesday.
