How about three legs of the Quaddie in and a 2nd?? Bugga! We did have some nice winners though like the first leg of the quaddie $17 and last leg $9 I think. Our Winform Gold Club horse finished 4th in the fastest race of the day and will be improved by the run. His last 600 was close to 33.dot. Our Best bet yesterday was a good winner at $3.40 and won by five lengths but no luck with the Daily or Weekend Feature Race. Our first Premium ran 2nd and our last was a no bet due to the track downgrade. Swoopers were everywhere yesterday and had 3 wins from 13 but a profit of 1.6 units. I had a good run myself finishing $2k up. John emailed me to say he felt that betting nthe C Plan manually gave a better result than using an automation and he is dead right. The bot tests both potential selections and if one of them fails to qualify it passes the race, whereas we would simply be on the one that does pass our tests and that will always be the case. AND we might think that a bet should be placed but on Betfair, the prices change so quickly that at the nominated time we have the bot checking, a different horse may be favourite to what we think. Personally, I just let it run and see what happens at the end of the day, although on a busy day like yesterday, I do check every hour or so. In the meantime, here is the happy group from our live in Seminar last year.
