In spite of the heavy track at Gosford yesterday our Gold Club runner was a close 5th and only a neck or so away from 3rd as four hores finished packed up behind the winner. As it was only a 2nd up run, it was a sign of things to come. She was also racing after a 3 week plus break. At least now we know she can still run well , even if wet. She raced in 4th place to the turn and finished on even though a couple got around her.
Tomorrow our 3yo full sister, which has two wins and a 2nd from three wet track runs, also races at Gosford and rates 2nd after using the mud and bog factors on the Winform/Gtx program. Of course we still need luck in running and all the necessary jockey skills.
There were more people at the races yesterday than I have seen for a very long time and a good field of on course race accountants too…
Just four meetings today but a couple of good tracks and also expected at Bunbury. Coffs Harbour is heavy.
This is a likely C Plan race but Kazoom is a 10yo so I wil leva that out and go one out with Cracksman if it is a clear favourite. It has the form to win.
