jUST LOOKING AT YESTERDAYS RACES WE FOUND 35% WINNERS IN THE WINFOR TOP 3 ON ALL TRACKS COMPARED TO 44% WINNERS ON TRACKS WHICH WERE NOT HEAVY. We can be tempted to go the heavy track routye, especially if we fancy horses which we believe can handle it but all too often our plans come unstuck. Yesterday we had, as we do most days, info on some horses which were a) supposed to be fit and ready to win and b) able to handle the conditions. None won and only one even managed to find a place. One horse at Pakenham was backed as if unbeatable and luckily it was a C Plan race so our other runner gave us a massive result at a good price. It was supposed to be a Soft 7 so we aere happy to bee on it but on viewing all horses running to the extreme outside and still struggling to make ground it was obvious it was much closer to Heavy than the regulators said. On another note, don’t you hate how our word devices fill in often unintended words that often get us misinterpreted or at worst in trouble?
