Everyone who took the Dutch options yesterday made a good profit. We are unlucky in that two of our runners were 1st and 3rd even though at first glance as they crossed the line I was convinced we had what would have been a very very nice Quinella. Thats just the luck element. We assessed that our 80/1 shot (got out to $151) would run better and it did, taking on the favourite and pushing it out of contention. I’d black book that longshot as it well may win an easier race next time up.
I snet our complete top 5 for the three major race meets today Scone, Doomben and Morphettville so plenty for Members to work with. As for specials I simply dont have any but there are plenty of races where some useful exotics could be found.
What I means is that as you have seen in recent posts, where two runners seem to dominate the ratings and it is a relatively open race on the markets there can be an advantage in stanbding out the top two from the other runners in our top five. Weve done okay with this in rec ent examples.
