Another day another three legs in the Quaddie. How they let Trap For Fools get away with that ridiculous pace should be the subject of an enquiry. Not that it shouldn’t have won but there should have been pressure a lot further away from home and the one thing that comes out of it is “How good was the run of Extra Brut?” The next years Australian Cup, the AJC Derby (if its not wet) Doomben Cup, even the Sydney Cup and onwards to Melbourne next year. He’s no Winx but he is very very good. In th meantime the above is a summary of my last set of single bets and it shows what Money Factory can do with a decent set of selections. And heres my Powerplay from yesterday on what was a very poor day in retrospect.

There were best in 18 races so slightly less than 2 runners av per race. I made a bad judgement call on one runner in not taking the $10 on offer, best tote ended up $6.9 and so missed about $100 or so extra profit. Seven race meetings today but I will relax and maybe get in the water and take the grandkids in the kayak. Oh, and on the subject of horses falling in their races. How many professional athletes have a fall in their sports? The only difference is they don’t shoot them, well not in most countries anyway. I see Stephen Arnold is part of the commentary team now. Good to see him out and about.
