I started my latest Money Factory series as much as $3,000 or more down from Saturday after earlier making a clear profit from my first series of $970.55 which was earnt by 3 o’clock that day. The Bank is $10,000 so no big deal, simply down 30%. I was trying one of Amelia’s methods from Punting In The New Millenium, the only book by a female professional Punter that I know of. So as I hadn’t tried it since around 2004 when the book was published I decided to give it a go. I stared my betting around 2.30 with Devonport race 3 and I didn’t back a single winner down there but when I found the winner of Sandown Race 8 (I had run 2nd and 3rd in the 7th) my series was down to just $664.30 behind. There were only 9 winners from 34 races in the series but that was expected. The average dividend was just $2.58 so the strike rate was okay but the dividend was down. I simply need one dividend around $3 or more so say two $10 shots or $5 and $10 with one of those winning. In 2003 the actual strike rate was 28% when we only bet if we were expecting to make a profit of 100% or more on our outlay dutchbetting our top two in races up to 1700 metres with no heavy tracks. We actually made level stakes profit back then of 7% betting $100 per race. From the 2485 qualifying races (there are over 1400 races run every month here) we made $17949 profit back then. I will continue to track the method and let yopu knwo but my time is limited so might only get a couple of hundred races in each month. Good luck today, only two ,meetings, Just by the way, 5 place bets for our new service and the results 5th, 2nd $3.25, 4th, last and 3rd $3 so a nice profit so far.
