You could have had a nice dutch result in the Slipper with our top three at $4, $5 and $12 you would have near doubled your outlay, more if you took advantage of the many money back offers. The Quinella was yours, cost $10 and payout close to $40, and if you took the top four from the video in the Quaddie $256 got you $11,000.
I concentrated on the Trifecta and First 4 and got 1st 2nd and 4th. Silly me. In fact for the entire day I failed to collect on any of my choices and even missed the $9 winner on John Furgals SMS service. We had a day with Belle and her kids and it was a bit of a rush to get there but I did manage a very good collect last week on the C Plan which my regulars tell me had a very good week, mostly without me.
Our other good news is that our grandaughter, now out of hospital after 5 weeks, is dong well and will return to school after the Easter holidays. She has a rare disease called SMA and there are less than 2,000 cases in Australia. It can be managed but it can recur at any time. All good so far.
Well the rain has mostly gone away, we got away with minor rain damage this time but our daughter lost carpet and the like in two rooms and there is internal rain damage but its all minor compared to the many who lost their homes. We had major damage back in the 80’s and again in the 90’s in our Wallsend offices with the entire first floor inundated. And of course we had the Newcastle earthquake but we are Aussies and we recover.
In the meantime the Autumn Carnival rolls on.
P.S. We have totally sold out of HowToWin@Horseracing2Day in hard copy. Fortunately we have the ebook still available.
