The one good aspect of Covid 19 is that the races are still on! Our chances of contracting the flu have been reduced by 90% and more lives have been saved during the pandemic than lost and many of those lost would probably have been lost by other causes anyway.
I’m not being trivial about it either. I haven’t even had one cold this year so far and normally I would get two or three by now.
Anyhow, I have been looking at lots of NEW scenarios. One of those happened yesterday as you know. Another thing that happens is horses that disappointed down south, improve in North Queensland, so Dunatin which failed to produce in its last prep has now been propelled North and runs today in Race 2 at Townsville in a distance too short for it and I hope it loses so we can get a better price next time over a more suitable distance , 1300 or 1400 would be ideal. Put it in your blackbook just in case. Expect it to hit its straps 3rd up as it wll almost certainly be down in class compared to what it was up against down here.
