** All services loaded and uopdated 10.15 a.m. We assume an upgrade to Soft 5 at Morphettville after race 1 (Race1 is on the main track and wont upgrade) Our Daily Feature Race was a bust yesterday but was it?? Our 5th rated horse won and none of the top four filled a place but here’s the thing. We could have backed all five runners on a dutch bet and made a good profit. On another note, I had my very first cash out experience last night. I backed the Westerne BUlldogs to win by 1-20 @ $7.25 and into the final quarter it looked to me as if they would, after being 9 poiunts in front , they would win by around 30. It was for this reason that I cashed out @ odds of $2.50. In the end they lost by 2 so it was a wise decision for the opposite reason. Watching the odds as the game unfolded I noted that with GWS scoring and redusing the margin the price dropped to $2.10. I may not agree with the prices ofered as they will always favour the provider but in this case it was the best option at the time. Similarly I have always, when finding three of four legs in the Quaddie, backed the remaining runners in the last leg to give me something back if I missed the winner with the runners I already had. It has been a good policy. The csh out option though in that case is not a winner as it is heavily skewed in the bookies favour. The same applies to the so called “bundle” bet which is being promoted. It just seems to me to be a promo to those mugs punters who dont understand dutch betting. I’ll repost when our info is up on the webpage. In the menatime, anyone who purchses Winning With Favourites today via the online store (see menu above) will also receive Winning Barriers for no extra charge.
