Friday Night and Sky Diamonds is in a controversial race where 7 of the 8 runners, not mine, were mentioned in stewards reports. Mine simply did not let down so wasn’t flogged from the 150 and we await reports on Monday. Still covered her costs but just not winning. Maybe one or two more goes before retirement as she will go to a broodmare sale this year anyway.
So I was asked by a client were there any more systems and I suggested our top rated runners at Alice Springs Fannie Bay and Port Lincoln. I hope he took the info on board as we got a $21 winner at Fannie Bay yesterday.
I’m getting better at navigating my new drone bit still struggling with the software. Last time out was my best yet but somehow the video didnt take and yesterday I had plans to view the yacht races and then head down low to pick up the bow wave and do a pullback shot but the wind direction meant that they didnt come my way. Still they race wednesday and Saturday so I am sure to have a go soon.
Tomorrow I have Cairns race 1 2 (subject to scrs.)and that is that on a rare monday with 3 meetings. I may not be sailing myself anymore but keep the jacket on just in case my drone drops short of my “home” position.
