Yes you do actually. Greg emailed me yesterday to ask about the Swooper selections since we started the service. You’ll be pleased to know we are maintaining the 10 year average of 28% +and profit of close to 30%. Selections continue to average 100+ selections per year or about 2 per week.
Recent months have seen as many as 3-4 weeks without selections due yo poor weather and also as we came to the end of the horse year, that paucity of Open races, the only races we make selections from.
The HR2D selections, have been affected by the wet as well with fewer than 20 selections last month but still around 45%+wins and profits around 5% to 6% if we are lucky, which is due to the shorter average price of winners, as you would expect. Most are favourites and many Members plonk large sums on these.
Overall, my PSP bank has remained static over the winter after enduring some small losses, currrently 11 unit. into my 50 unit Bank, once again caused by the smaller numbr of selections and lower prices with Classs definitely down over this period of time (normal). I look at these stats all the time and see it over and over again, Winter is the hardest tiemof the year simply because the track conditions are so variable.
Wellington yesterday, looked drought stricken but it is the combination of cold temperatures and those damned westerlies which dry everything out. None of those fabulous tracks we see in the City and provicnials where the grass covering can be more classy than the horses.
