Today the filly I part own as part of the prostate foundation promotion had its first jump out ready for her winter campaign. She came through it well on the heavy track at Caulfield this morning and while not asked to do anything was solid all the way. Jake Noonan was very pleased with her. He suggested that her first up run at the races in the next couple of weeks would be needed to get her to full fitness.
So wet everywhere today there is not a single suggestion from me. Ill probably spend some time running through my selections in both Money Factory and Winform Powerplay to see what is best.
Of interest is that of 317 selections I have had this year 132 were favourites and 50% won for 15% profit. Backing all selections based on their prices produce 12.8%
Overall the strike rate was 31% winners and 14 the longest losing run although on the basis of probabilities a longest run of 24 is possible. On a 50% strike rate that is still 14. The chart was created over a ten year period but of course the problem is that those runs of outs could occur the very first time you use start your betting.
Something to think about.
