The first 7 races yesterday yielded $148 profit after 4 wins . That enough for most people considering the maximum outlay allowed is $50 . If the top selection is odd on then it would be the only runner backed an that meant the one occasion yesterday in those races yielded $50 profit.
In a later race ( didnt do anyhting nbetween ) I noted one runner was paying $21 for the place so instead of backing that one for the win I took the $21 and still returned the $100 required for the race, $105 actually.
So there are some creative ways to get to where you are going when you have the space to do so. The first two selections took up $45 so we still kept to the $50 maximum.
Thats not to say its like that everyday but since Ive been watching live recently , there are few dys where a profit wasnt reached at some stage.
My brother from Sydney is making a rare visit today after he too has had recent operations which did not exactly do what was intended. Anyhow, wiht the first Group races this Saturday we might pop up a video tonight so remember to check the diary after 5.
My only ever runner in a Group Race at Flemmington was a fizzer but a great day anyway.
