Ive included a link to our staking plan book https://horseracingaustralia.info/downloads/Professional_Staking_and_Money_Management_6482.pdf
Everyone should have this. Some of the plans are for people out to have fun at the races. Others are for the more serious. It is essential to have a Plan if you wish to come out in front.
Due to the fire at Caulfield todays meeting has been transferred to Mornington but be wary. Many of the horses were entered on that basis that Calufield suited their runners. Mornington is a far more difficult track.
Yesterday My Wild Ruler Tarabai filly sold at Magic Miillions for $100,000 that was 30,000 less than our costs and the first of her progeny to missout on a profit. Ahh the vagaries of breeding. Still, a fily we sold two years ago had her first jumpout yesterday and won easily so hopefuly if she carries that form to the races it will be much better for our next years yearling. Last years is now 2yo and will race in February/March and has developed into a nice sort. More likely to compete in longer races.
Devonport Race 3 10 is a last start winner and has placed at this track, experience which leaves it as a good possibility here.
Eagle Farm Race 7 2 is an on pace runner and will be suited by the prospect of a track upgrade form the mornings soft5 Rider Bwheeler is proving to be an outstanding prospect and has ridden it to a good win at this track and is down in Class from its last start and drawn well.
Most people believe Eagle Farm is a back markers track but thats not true. Leaders ridden by astute jockeys can lead strongly in the long straight.
