That included 5 from 6 at Darwin, well actually, double that because we had about another 8 winners from the 5-7 plan.
Anyhow, had a chat to a guy at the pub where we had lunch yesterday while we were waiting to be served. He said I had sex with a blind woman once and I said well how did that work out? She said Ive never felt such a big dick in my life.
“So what did you say to that”. “you’re pulling my leg!” he said.
Anyhow, the grankids and Ros and I had a nice lunch once our order came and a couple of drinks (I didnt have to drive) and then home to watch the Knights knock off the Titans. Next week they play the Dolphins at home on old boys day and they rarely lose on that day, probably win 90%. They sit at $1.70 fav.
But the few runners I backed seemed to have forgotten how to run. Anyhow a winning week.
Only two meetings today Wellington Race 2 5 is a 7yo mare with 25 starts and although running some reasonable races is up against an inform runner at $1.70 and is only $5.50. Im not backing it, the price isnt good enough to justify it.
Interesting that I follow Western Bulldogs and they (same colours as the Knights) are also $1.70 in their match against a vastly improved Hawthorn.
Lost to watch at the weekend. 4 AFL finals and the Nights game is on Sunday as the last match of the last round.
Our chart in the second issue of our magazine featured prices and fair starts based on the bookies prices. But things have changed. points starts are now much much less than they used to be years ago and with the dynamic changes in how the umpires and referees are running the games it is almost impossible.
At least in the AFL the game is running much more freely and decisions in the tackling are taken early to prevent mayhem.
In the NRL any tackle involving an arm anywhere near the shoulder, even if accidental and due to the tackled player falling into it is an immediate penalty and much more likely to involve a 10 minute stint on the side;lines.
A penalty in NRL is a much bigger thing than AFL where it is a free kick and rarely likely to change a game. Unless it becomes a 50 metre penalty. In the NRL it can be a gain of 25% of the field or more or a shot at goal for 2 points which is enough to win or lose a game.
Cheers.
How long before we get offered AI tipping services. The GTX program already covers that field.
