Im late today because Ive just been down to the lake for our Australia Day fun day sponsored by our local Coal Fired Power Plant and underground Coal mine. This power plant provides about 10% of the NSW electricty grid and when other plants are closed that will ramp up to about 30% on those cold rainy days and the autumn days where there is virtually no wind. But already they are building a massive solar plant built on the ash dam nearby so two uses for the remainder of the ashes.
We decided to buy a battery from AGL at a cost of about $10k but then found that in a power outage the battery would not work because it needs the grid to be operating for the battery to work.
Oh well, we can still cook using our BBQ….what! We cant legally buy gas for our BBQ? How unaustralian. It just goes on doesn’t it.
So why all the waffle? I dont have any specials for today and I would love to have another winning selection.

With any luck we can dutch these and come home with a profit. We could back one of these at money back with Vicbet (bnsback 2nd)and the other at one of the other corporates and back Mr Wallace mback 2nd or 3rd . You could end up with a nice win and a bns bet.
