Well Amelias plan ran well, very well Saturday and then a lost series on Sunday, maybe 5 races short of a nice profit. The weekend was okay for specials with zero from 3 Saturday but 2 winners Sunday which almost got us back into the clear but still, just 5 units down at this stage although overall well up on our starting point back in October.
Our speed horses have been the culprit with some bad losses made up by some good wins on the other two plan s.
In the meantime I am going through our older plans one at a time and if they are beyond hope will delete them altogether.
The best plans are he ones with the least amount of rules as these are more likely to repeat. Trolling through them looking for an edge does some good when there is new information, e.g. some of the plans relied on info that is no longer applicable.
Anyhow, I hope everyone took advantage of Saturdays no lose proposition which basically gave everyone free hit up to $50. If you selection won you won as usual but if it lost, even if last, you still got your investment back up to the value of the outlay, so $10 out $10 back $100 out $50 back (max) or best $50 out and $50 back or a win.
Bathurst Race 5 is short but should win. It is no 2 Maz Canata. It was up in class at Wyong last start and couldnt sustain its run to the line in the short straight. $1.90 looks about the right price.
