The year is moving quickly.
We hope you have started off the New Year well. Tomorrow looks like a lot of ordinary meetings ahead of the Magic Millions Sales starting Monday I think.
I have a mere 1% share in a mare that has her 4th yearling on sale on the first day. So far it has all been profitable enough with prices between $100k and $130k for the previous 3, one of which was a winner, one filly which we know nothing of her and a gelding which is ready to race around February.
I had previously raced the Mare in a Laurel Oak syndicate and so when she retired I had the option to stay on in my first breeding syndicate. It requires patience but has been very profitable so far. Last years yearling I retained my share in the Racing syndicate for it. Heres hoping.
The Syndicate has had a Golden Slipper winner so it is one group yu might want to be in and if you start with a filly you may get to carry on after the Racing is over.
Laurel Oak Bloodstock
The founder attended one of my very first Racing Seminars and kicked on from there to the point where most race meetings feature one or more runners.
Ive only ever had two horses with Laurel Oak that I was involved in that did not win a race.
The most exciting time comes when they jump.
Wagga 5 no 1 Bide Your Time won easily at Wagga last time, races on pace and has drawn nicely in Barrier 4.
