Saturday Betsmart switched to Flemington and Eagle Farm. Not a brilliant day but with moneyback available on every race using the TAB and Vicbet Flemington lobbed $100 up and Eagle Farm $22. Thats assuming max outlay of $50 a race. While not the best day since I started monitoring this service June last year there have been only maybe 6 days where either a loss was made or it was only get square. For $29.95 a month its a bargain. We actually have hundreds of our Members have taken it up inclduing Winform/GTX subscribers who are smart enough to realise that checking the Bestsmart selections and comments are a helpful addition to the Winform ratings.
Sad to say but some of our most reliable “system” plans have fallen by the wayside this year after years of successful operation,
Our Hot Shot Speed Horses, normally better than 30% and well over $3 av div has dropped to just 28% this year and dividends of as low as $2,70 assuming BOB at Vicbet.
Early Races are still strong at 45% but the av div so far thsi year is around $1.80 and the place side at 80% place still cant show a profit.
Flemington Last Start Winners as featured in How To Win At Horseracing 2Day is still going well at 26% wins and 15% profit at BOB>
Our Northern Territory runners are still strong and up around 30% profit on turnover. More than offsetting other losses and of course our Staple Best Bets or Zippers which have been running at near 50% wins for years have plunged along with the dividends.
Admittedly some of the plans have had very small numbers of selections but still the Winform Top Two in the ratings are strong with high average dividends and you may remember our tactic in a recent Newsletter (late last year) is going well, (it involved backing the top 3 runners if better than $10 or more) and yesterdays $120+ winner at the Sunshine Coast was a good example.
You might remember in Sundays diary we proposed dropping the Broome and Roebourne races out because of their historically low levels, well apart from a short priced placegetter and a $3 winner it would have been a disaster. Hope you all read it.
Oh those dirt tracks some good some bad like Roebourne half dirt half grass and Broome all dirt but the Alice and Fannie Bay have many track specialists and frequent racing and winning for Winform/GTX users.
