I started to get emails and a few sms contacts who noticed I had not posted this week. It was actually all news to me as I believed I had. However this morning (one of our grandkids became a teenager yesterday and one of the twins (11yo) became the third fastest 1500 metre runner in the Hunter regionals.) I can see that somehow my posts had not uploaded.
Then I remembered my new Fibre to the premises NBN had been virtually failing at times over several days. So perhaps that is why.
Anyhow back to “normal” today? Well not quite. My ZIP shares took a turn for the better and hit $2:19 yesterday after sitting at 25cents last November. I bought a few at low prices (to be honest in the 70c to 90c mark and a few more at $1.10 and then $1.26, sold some at $1.39 then rebought at $1:69 about a week ago, eventually averaging my price at $2:15. Its been a long long journey since they hit $14:26 and I didnt sell back then .
They actually represented most of my Super Fund, however I was always confident they would hit profitability and they have.
The week has been treacherous for our latest plan but clawed a bit back yesterday with a $3.80 and $11 winner. Lots of selections today and I am starting almost back to where I started but it consoles me that we lost 54 units in February and clawed our way back into profit from April on.
For the record we have had just 8 winners this moth but 32 placed for a win loss of 36 units. On a level stakes basis that could have near wiped us out. But an average place dividend of $2.50 have held us up. Mind you I am only on win for our Professional Staking Plan trial.
Today, well here are the selections so far (may change because of scrs and trck changes). That is 24% of out Bank in play in one day> Not seen this before ever. The Katherine fields are all 7 starters or less and almost all runners at the meeting are from Darwin.
