Oaks day and its fine and good . Fantastic. Only four black type races today and the Oaks is the highlight and most years I don’t agree with the Oaks Favourite but this year I see nothing else a chance given just ordinary luck in running. The first race at Hawkesbury was a classic C Plan race and $8.50 was available about our top rated horse before it firmed to $4.40 and won easily. The fav drifted to $2.40 and lost of course. A good start. The track will be great at Flemington today and easy to get bets on and a great crowd again. Looking forward to Saturday too. It can be difficult to win at Flemington with so many horses set for these races. Do you like the new cash out deals>> One punter stands to collect $200,000 from TAB if Yankee Rose wins but the cash out option is $74,000 . That would be a big save for TAB and represents odds to the TAB of $2.70. Why wouldn’t they try to get them to cash out? I suppose the smart thingis to take $34k and let the rest run just in case Yankee Rose falls or is pushed by other riders into a box because that’s all that can stop her. She should be $1.50 or less.
