Looking at Amelias method yesterday we found just 4 winners in 14 eligible races so 4 wins from 28 runners altogether but that was all that was needed to close the Powerplay series and make another profit. It took a while, the closer coming at Launceston. I missed the races yesterday. Seing a good steady noreaster I took off in my Hobie but with my rudder pin snapping, limped to the other side of the lake where a young girl spotted me and alerted her Dad who luckily, was on afternoon shift. With his help, and tools, I was able to get a replacement pin inserted and head off home. Unfortinately, the fault was in the internal controls so I mostly allowed the wind to blow me home. The challenge now is to get my boat to the dealer for a repair without a trailer or roof rack and without a working rudder I can’t even paddle it there. Hmmm. There were it seems, six Winform Gold Club Specials in a row getting up yesterday. Funny that. It was also the first day I didn’t do an all up. Using Parlay Magic and $110 per set the result was $3,000 plus. Probelm is that I have been using $440, 4 times that as my all up, so $12,000 missed. Still incomparable with my life experience of being shipwrecked yesterday. As long as our subscribers won, that is the main thing. and that would be $800 prfoit on a $100 bet.
