Late last night my Dad passed away so our Spring analysis will likley not be updated tonight. Fortunatley his passing at age 93 came with most of his children with him and he received the Last Rites ( he was a good man who fought for his country and supported his family and with St Vincent De Paul as a volunteer, countless other families) before he was given a last shot of pain relief to allow himto pass quietly. We all hope for as good an innings. Strangely he was never into Horse Racing or gambling (maybe didnt have time with six kids) so I suspect I got that from my grandad on my mothers side. Dad was writing his biography with my help and he always said it would be his obituary. We were even having a meeting today to organise his room and he had suggested I bring my tape measure. It was for his coffin he said. So today I have things to organise and will be out of office. He spoke to each one of his children this week so we suspect he was aware that his time was near. It comes for all of us.
