We found the Adelaide Cup Winner at $10.70 and it was our Daily Feature Race and as we said, you could have dutched the top five runners and made a very nice profit. I also took the Quinella/Trifecta/First4 but lucked out when we ran 1st and 3rd. Being a public holiday we included Highstrikers and that came up with good results. It was brilliant at Moonee Valley where we found the early Quaddie $196 for an outlay of just $16 plus a number of running Doubles as reported yesterday. Six of 8 at Monee Valley but only two winners at Morphettville and 8 from 17 overall or 47% which keeps us right on target. After the second at the Valley we were 2 units up and so quit for the day which turned out a good strategy as the rest of the day produced just 1/2 unit of profit before the last at Morphettville took one unit back. The SMS found a good winner from three selections and so those using MOney Factory cleared their Bank yet again . We now have someone monitoring this independently and the report for March says average dividend $2.89 and profit on turnover 20%. Yesterday the Bank cleared again, this time with average dividend of $2.72 and profit on turnover of 15%. We noticed an amazing number of second places which has knocked our overall stike rate down and got a report today from another service provider (c ompetitior you might say) that also bemoaned the number of second places in the past month. Place for the SMS service continue unabated at around the 80%+ level but I believethe straight out option is still best. You just have to have the patience to hang in there and the winners will come, just as they have the past few days which included 4 out of 4 at low prices then a drop in strike rate but big lift in dividends. You can’t have both it seems. Our Internet dropped out yesterday afternoon and we werestuck. The mobile data service dropped out as well and of course our phone these days operates via the internet. I had to go back to the old days of making a phone call to the TAB as the only means fo getting on and they didnt like quoting the prices to me over the phone, which of course I had to have so I could make up my dutchbet. A quieter day today.
