Yes , it was a bad day thursday, zero winners for Amelias plan and the tracks may have had a bit to do with it as Wyong never officially deteriorated but they still cancelled the last race. We blew $2,000 but Hey! we’d already lost one “series” and accumulated over $7,000 in just one week.
Anyhow, yesterday we had only three winners at $20, $27 and $6 but for just that day made around $800, you see the losing run was small inbetween so less build up of stakes and of course the higher prices meant smaller outlays, it can be a godsend when you get a run of losers though and of course that is inevitable.
We normally get one series loss for every 15 or 16 completions and sometimes the profit on a series can be as little as $20 but as much as $500 or even a thousand. It can be enormous fun!
I have written about numerous plans and they all work as long as you have the patience to run them. You can choose your own races , just taking 3rd and 4th favourites can be a winning strategy at times and you will get the right strike rate but its not always a good strategy if the first two favs. are short priced.
Ill run a small plan and see how it goes. It will be pretty general but we’ll see and I will advise in the next Newsletter.
There are so many wet tracks I have my lifejacket on today and hope I dont get too much bleeding today.
