Peter advised that he received a call from “Andrew” purporting to be from a betting agency. It doesn’t matter who, but the deal of a $500 deposit match sounded good so Peter said okay and an account was set up over the phone. At the point where his credit card was requested so he could make a deposit, Peter sussed that something didn’t sound right and so decided not to proceed. Then he called customer service at the agency and discovered that in fact “Andrew” didn’t actually work for them. The point is that the Corporate was real, a real account was set up but and so made it look legitimate but where would the money have gone? We still get two or three calls per week from agencies with bookie something and all offering big cash depsoit match ups but the reality is that we know nobody who actually gets paid when they win. The point is be wary about who you trust. We sometimes assist with opening accounts with various companies but we and you know we are legit and that we wouldn’t refer you anywhere where you wouldn’t get paid. So a dreary day today with only Wyong Good and Swan Hill and Bathurst as heavy as it gets.
