our runners at Moonee Valley in the Cup last night took each other out with a 1,2 front running failure. It needed just one of those runners and we would have had a chance so a UK import with an 11% winning record took it out as favourite. What is it with two dus taking out two major races, Valinant King was the other one with its 3rd win coming up in a major race before a place in the Caulfield Cup.
It defies history and all racing logic but as we have discovered over the years anything is possible.
