Yesterday we landed 2 winners, as predicted, at the Birdsville meeting and almost square at the end . Our first winner paid a meagre $1.50. Today I have spent a lot of time trying to compare apples with apples amongst fields of pears and mandarins.
Many of the victories in the form were from tracks you wont have heard of and a 6 length victory in a 3 horse race is not really the form you can rely on. Another trap is that several runners are backing up from yesterday. One notable of these is Lady Fey which might have been considered “unlucky” not to have won yesterday and was entered fro two of todays races and they chose the stronger of the two, Race 7. I prefer Golden Athena in that race.
Here are my selections today. GTX/Winform users should note they are majorly different from what comes out of the computer. I do expect a better result than what the computer sees with the knowledge that I have against the computers black and white interpretation of my rules. Added to this you have to think about why trainers have travelled 1000,s of kilometres to bring their horses here. “Do they “know something” or or they just using it as a fun trip to this iconic pub and racecourse? In our pic today you see Kangaroo Island and many of todays runners have come there there or other parts of South Australia.
