So it turns out that as you know, Canterbury races don’t close off scratchings until 10:15 so really lets say 10.30 to make sure. So for one reason or other, I had to go out for a while before settling back in.
In the process I missed a Best Bet in the last at Canterbury and didnt get my bet on. It was a very good winner at $4+
Anyhow today I have three and my best is up against a $1.80 chance. Gatton Race 3 no 8. Its currently $7 and will either save us or sink us. The other two are both hotpots and many of those are going down lately.
At least I have unfurled my flag ready for Friday.
