The good news is that the Doomben track was heavy 8 two days ago and this morning a Soft 6 so easily a soft 5 by this afternoon so Good 4 is possible for Saturdays Doomben 10,000 meeting. Our ratings subscribers will have seen our assessments by now and there are some major betting moves as the track conditions change. At first the wet trackers were firming but now that trend is reversing with moves like $3 fav out to $5 or others $5 into $4 or less in the same race. One race which I found interesting is such that I can’t make a recommendation until I am certain of at least a Good 4 and then I have a possible $25 winner . Scone races today and what a test for racegoers. There will be a bitterly cold westerly wind blowing off the mountains so rug up if you are going. The hot pies will be a sellout! No Hotshots for us today so not only are we short of winners we are actually short of selections with possibly only 1 or 2 tomorrow. I have also had difficulty finding value place selections this week but I am looking. Tonights Knights/Penrith match will be a real challenge for the kickers and the crowd is well down on last weeks looking at early ticket sales. I have tickets but with the end of a bad cold will stay at home myself even though I have tickets and will be counted. Scone is always a tough meeting but most other venues are rain affected. On another front Ros is now going well although my brother had hsi knees done on Monday and has now well and truly hit the pain barrier. Good luck today. I’ll send the link for my video today on the Enews.
