WINFORM TOP TWO ON Good tracks and down to soft 5 Saturday struck at 38% winning races (av 33%) and the place totes actually made a level stakes . Av win dividend was $4.80. HR2D Top 2 had a poor day at 40% which was 10% down on average and Highstrikers Last minute mail had a really bad day @ 25%.
Our Daily Feature Race found a good e/w selection, although the final price was way below expectations, however the morning price was very good. The Weekend Feature Race found the $27.80 Quinella and $400 Trifecta.
The Quaddie at Moonee Valley was in the Winform top five but typical of the Valley it didn’t pay a lot at $2100. Flemington pays the best Quaddies and Caulfield in the Spring is very very good.
John Furgals SMS had two wins yesterday and it has been a good start to August so far.
Plenty of Racing today but only a couple of good rated tracks, most are soft 5 or worse but nothing heavy. If you prefer a good read with the Spring Carnival coming up, we suggest reading Greg Horns book Professional Punting My Personal Approach. If you dont have it, its at the online store.
