1000,s of people have seen my preview of the Caulfield Cup where I predicted that the winner would come fromk my top 6 selections which were rated $7 through to $15. I put up with upsetting commnets on YouTube from people who basically declared I was stupid for not including Bonneval and Jon Snow, I even had to delete a couple of posts after bad language from a female viewer. But after all this I discovered after the event that I had failed to get onto Boom Time myself. I placed my place bets with Betfair , snapping up all the money for decent pricres including a Betfair market that paid down to 4th place. I was also on Lord Fandango for the win and had hundreds of dollars on the Quinella, Trifecta and First four , none of which eventuated. The first leg of the Quaddie was a negative affair with our top three very short and probably six chances from the eight runners so I opted to take the Treble instead and while that was successful at about $2k profit for our syndicate it did not match the $10k or $9k profit the Quaddie would have yielded. My Boom Time bet was already on in my mind and with so many other things to do just to get everyone up to speed and all the stuff on the website I ended up with a place bet only, though fortunately I had taken Boom Time in the Topbetta Tournament for eneough to collect a min or prize. I won’t discuss how I lost that winning opportunity punting on the last few races in an effort to win the comp. We now have a very solid following on YouTube which now needs to somehow be converted to cash, because the YouTube channel is free to join. Of more importance I suppose is that I now have bragging rights to giving subscribers a $51 Caulfield Cup winner, a race which has been a perpetual loser for me. The Melbourne Cup has been a perpetaul winner and now that looms as I wait for the big one. Good luck to all who backed it.

I can’t believe that you didn’t back the winner! Even I was on that one!
To make it clear to followers, I used a Money Factory bank, which showed my bet size to be $52.00 for the race in this case. I rarely bet on favourites on the Spring Carnival as they have a 13% winning strike rate long term at this time of year. Therefore it was easy to more than double my outlay on this race. Now, because of a quirk of my nature, I like to get a bit extra on long shots. If you work strictly to the plan, I should have had $2.00 on the winner. But because it was the only long shot in the group, I narrowed the price to $10.00, which meant that I ended up with $5.00 on the winner @ $50.00 and a return of $250.00. Much more than the $52.00 outlay
This is part of the beauty of Money Factory, but as you can see, I will have some failures as well. Make sure you have a bank that is sufficient for your needs if trying it out.
