I expect Private Eye which would have won today on a soft 5 or better has been scratched to avoid the heavy track and will now eye the Queensland Carnival instead. There are some very big prizemoney races there now. The Doomben 10,000, Stradbroke and the like perhaps. Follow.
Disappointing we get another heavy track just when the Autumn Carnival is peaking instead of the steady down turn of recent times.
Luckily , Amelias plan has been on fire recently. Yesterdays race strike rate of 32.6% and winners at $9 and $6 earlier held the profit, the $23 winner at Caloundra was icing on the cake. Tell that one to the Millenials.
Anyhow, today I turn to the Footy with the Knights heading for a flogging from the in form Penrith but I expect great defence training for our severely depleted side. The Western Bulldogs will be up against it with Port Adelaide with many memorable games with them at the Adelaide Oval. It could be an epic struggle or ane epic wipeout aka Richmond Tigers last night. Anyhow its 5 hours of intense viewing for me.
I do have my money on Alice Springs today as my last meetings in Alice. Darwin ,and Port Lincoln (Sunday) have been savage losers. I am due but forget I said that. I will just plod on and not try to do a catchup.
Cheers

P.S. Mazu, a dead set mud runner becomes my best hope for the All Aged today.
