But GEE it was fun to watch.
So I didnt notice the track upgrade at Grafton yesterday. It meant I missed a Barrier Plan winner at $4.50
Bugga!
There could be some R2D today so the Winform/GTX users can run it and see. With small fields etc at some venues pickings if any might be scarce. Every track is soft 5.
Just before I go , I have just attended the ZIP conference online and that is a great opportunity at the current price. The initial report was met with disappointment last month but a range of new products suggest this years $143 million net profit could double or even more for the 2025/2026 financial year.
ZIP is levering its 6 million account holder base (it is increasing 30%+ here and 60% in the US ) to leverage into a pay in 8 system plus here in OZ Personal Loans which are at a much higher margin.
In addition while the user base is predominantly 35-40yos, each year school leavers as they turn 18 and start working can get a basic low BNPL of $100-$250 I imagine enabling them to prove themselves worthy of qualifying for other opportunities as they grow within the workforce.
In fact it looks like the type and size of loans on average grows with the market. So up to $2.60+ this morning on a day where the market is down quite a bit. If today was a “good” day on the market perhaps $3+ might not have been out of the question.
Im still in 3DA by the way where their 2nd Powder machine starts running in April with a thrid machine on order and to be working at full capacity in 2026.
My 2yo gelding Real McCoy is now in training so 5 or 6 weeks away form debut.
