Considering the track was in great condition, the times run at Launceston last night weren’t that great. Tasmanians get a good serve of races with Mowbray being there virtually every week through Spring to Autumn and the Carnival over the January/February period usually brings good consistent racing. It was quite warm last night but Ros and I left in the chill of the morning around 4.30 a.m. and arrived home minus our bags at midday. Our luggage is expected to be delivered home around 7 tonight. Anyhow, we have a Gold Club runner at Canberra tomorrow and another at Canterbury tomorrow night and two runners expected at Hawkesbury next week. Good to see the action. As you can see I got litle sleep last night waiting for the alarm to wake me…didnt nee didnt need it, woke at 2.30 and couldnt get back to sleep anyhow.
