As requested recently we are reviewing where Winform Ratings work best. It is several years since we did this and with new whip rules, a change to how our trainers train their horses and the different track grading system introduced three years ago we decided to reveiw everything and with over 50,000 races and hundreds of thousands of horses analysed the results are different to our last survey. Nevertheless our dividend average across our top five runners nationwide is close to $7. There were some surprises. Tracks which were dificult to win out are now more likely to provide good results. Some venues that were money for jam races are now unprofitable. Some venues provide bucketloads of winners but you can’t win there because way too many of the winners are at too short a price. Anyhow the work has comenced and wes till get 32% plus winners in our Top Two rated horses Australia wide so we are doing something right. We do well at all of the synthetic tracks except Devonport but with the better dividends there we can still win. We still have a great record at Launceston and Hobart but getting a decent dividend can be a challenge. Sandown Lakeside is still better for us than Sandown Hillside and the Morphettville Parks circuit is better than the bigger Morphettville track. I’m off to Warwick Farm today where our Gold Club is expecting a big win from one of our fillies at $5 to $5.5 last time I checked. I hope to be in the winners circle with a few of the other 30 or so shareholders.
