That’s a surprise but a soft 7 makes it a little bit dodgy. Pakenham races on the synthetic and you would wonder why NSW lags behind with the only synth. being in the ACT.
It may not suit all horses but it is way better than ploughing through heavy grass tracks.
Ive mentioned before about how we sometimes get remarkably good place prices about some of out selections so yesterday, with Casterton being a combination of jumps and low class , well very low class racing I took the option for a fixed price place all up and scored at $6.94 even though the first one won, it had a place price well above the final price as it was firmly backed. The second runner looked a total dud except it was tried over 1400 for the first time and easily held second place behind the breakaway winner. I was happy with the result.
I have a similar situation today. I have two dodgy selections at Port Macquarie at quite long prices and have a $50 bonus bet I can invest. Its a $18 to $20 dividend for the all up and these selections overall have a 60% place strike.
On the other hand I have two good selections at Pakenham at shorter prices and I could do a Parlay so two at Pakenham to win and the two at Port to place. Cost is the same……NIL as I would be using the bonus.
Have a good day.
