Maybe I could have yesterday after four winning races out of the first five we were flying. Then came Northam and a bit of a dead end late. But then again, if a strategy is working there is no reason to ever stop. It just rolls on. Since our disastrous Saturday last week the winnings have built up and I doubled my Bank by Wednesday night. Yesterday was well ahead but now I have got all three plans about 10% into Money Factory. No big deal because thats how it works anyway. So this weekend is another weather event but it is being overpublicised I reckon. The rain pattern looks about normal although the big swells could return and further damage properties but then surely it is their responsibility if they build right on the beach. I noticed that some of the owners at Collaroy had made recent purchases. I am on the waterfront myself and yes we had one metre WAVES IN OUR BOATSHED AND OUR SEAWALL WAS DAMAGED. But our house is high above the watermark and protected but like King Canute discovered, you can’t stop the tide. If our house ever goes under then all of Newcastle will be gone before us. I suppose we will just have to restrict our betting this weekend if the wet weather arrives…nothing you can do about that either.
