The new series cleared again and now very much closer to 3 series of $1,000 available so we could lose two series in a row and we would still have some left.
We also concluded our Powerplay trial of putting all selections on at once and readjusting at the end of the day.
This trial showd a level stales loss of 14% on a slightly reduced strike rate of 32% compared to the much larger sample at 35%.
However using the Winform Powerplay there was aprofit of 1.1% so 15% better than playing at levelstakes and that tells a story. Money Management will always get you more than level stakes. That makes a fool of so many “experts” doesnt it?
Our original plan is still making 23% profit on turnover , lower , yes, but that is because we reckon the month of May has not been a really good one. And yes there have been some really bad losing months as we look at the past 11 years of results.
Anyway, regarding Amelias Plan. Most days this has been successful. Even yesterday with a mere 15% strike rate and a massive level stakes loss, you could see the the Winform Powerplay plan had several series wins with few longer prices but plenty in the $5 plus range. Users would probabaly have noticed that runners between $5 and $9 give us our best results. Yes double figure winners are great but obviously a lot fewer of them.
Vicbet is giving up to $50 back on Taree races 7,8 and 9 today. I have no interest myself on the heavy track up there but Tarabeau which was the gelding from our first breeding from Tarabai is 2nd up and fitter. Last start was backed up from a trial run only days before the event and knocked up after leading. He’s $11 and $3.50 today. He won 2nd up last prep.
