Our new Gold Club selections had a winning day yesterday. It was eitrher two out of three or two out of two, I’ll be honest, I brought back a Tassie cold and not 100% when I woke up today. Tony had a brilliant $7.50 winner for the Best Bets and Daily Feature, really for a dollar a day it’s the best value ever although typically, many punters drop off after the first losing run. Point is, if you take it stick to it. John Furgals Extras are experiencing a run of outs but personally I stick to the Specials and even though just $1.40 yesterday, it addes to the last bet I took before going away, a $3.10 winner. The Specials probably experienced its equal highest losing run through Saturday at around 5 outs, no big deal. Around Cradle Mountain (snowing) the chance of internet and mobile access is spotty at best. At Mats farm (my son) he proves to have a lot to learn about farming. The first task is to make it self sufficient and it has a mountain spring so no water rates. The next thing is to provide food sufficiency so a bit of poultry for eggs and KFC (killed feathered chicken), fattened pigs, goats and so on but not only has he given them all names, last night it was raining so he brought the goat into the farm house wrapped in a blanket next to the log fire. I had spent the previous day rounding up a rooster which had to be locked up at his previous henhouse for raping the hen population repeatedly and putting them off laying. Yesterday I had a breakfast meeting in Melbourne with RodCleary (vicbet.com) and we have deecided to reinstate the Spring Quaddie promo. It’s simple enough and last time participants had over $50,000 distributed back to their accounts after we snared a $90,000 Quaddie. My most recent syndicates pulled in a $47,000 Double and a later one an $11,000 Quaddie. Anyhow, more about that next month. Pool Members actually pay nothing to be in it, instead Rod and myself put up our own funds for participating clients as a bonus.
