The SMS service landed two out of two yesterday for just a one unit profit but its a win and we’ll take it and it maintains the 50% win strike rate for January to date. Our Daily Feature missed and the single selections on our Winform Daily Mail continued the rout from last Saturday. We did get winners but recouped zero from the exotics with no Quinellas at all and a lot of winners coming from outside our top five. Our turn must come as the stats long term never change. In the menatime our Winform Gold Club horse was favourite today but with an outside barrier draw and a weight disadvantage to country trained horses, has been scratched in favour of a start next Thursday at Randwick. At least a wide draw there won’t be a problem. The average punter out there has no idea what goes on with connections decisions unless they are high profile types that make the newspapers. Nobody really wants to have there horses running just so owners can watch them run, it’s all about giving the horse the best chance of producing prizemoney. In the meantime, membership of the Highstrikers Late Mail continues to grow and why not with the current prices being HALF what they will be starting in February 1st.
