Many years ago I published a C Plan in Turf Monthly and it related to the “c” that appears in form guides to indicate that the horse has won at that track at that distance. It actually worked okay alhtough the basic selection criteria are simply not relevant today due to changes to weight conditions and the like. The C Plan we stunbled on back in 2004 was due to a clients thoughts “did you know etc. etc??” and I hadn’t known. So In Racing Pays More we had the A Plan and a B Plan and so simply because it was the third plan in the book we called it the C Plan. It could have been anything but people still get confused simply beacuse of the name. It just keeps winning, nothing mystical about it, you just need Winfrom Ratings and the prices 5 minutes before the jump.
