We found 7 winners in the 9 races we covered for Daily Mail clients yesterday but only one of our “system” runners won, Viridine. In our Daily Feature the 5th rated runner won @ $18+ but no Quinella. The Weekend Feature found the Quinella ,$12 for a $10 outlay and no big deal. It wasn’t until the second last race Randwick race 9, that we hit a decent return. Piracyu was disppointing but he lasted for 4th to make us a First 4 of $1,000+. The Quinella $25 and Trifecta $400 was a reward for those who hung in there but overall not an inspiring day. Our Spring package subscribers got Keen Array on top even though I was not excited about the race and warned punters voff Spieth. My one moderatley keen idea was a place bet on Mailbu Style which paid $5 and just missed. !st and 3rd. At Randwick we suggested dutching the top two and doubling your money, well not quite but it was a win. Our suggestion of a Quinella in the 65th at Flemingotn was way off. A bugga of a race but back at Randwick Tangled and Ace High which was $3.5 when we recommended it ran 1/2 then in Flemington we had recommended Amelies Star for a place which is all you can do when the market is dominated by Almandin at even money. Amelies won in authorative fashion and now looks like Caulfield is in her sights. Back to Randwick and we saved on Dixie Blossoms before missing out in the 8th at Flemington. A day where the Group races yielded a few longshots. Subscribers would have emerged relatively unscathed but no major rewards. In the meantime, John Furgals SMS had just the one runner and a flop . Our Gold Club Specials took a bath after the very first of them won and 2 of the first 3 and there went our moment of glory. We ended the day with three winners at around $2 which took the sting out. I saw many many well backed horses flop yesterday, the Melbounre Cup fgavoutie Almandin among them but Winx just continues to dominate and was not stretched. I outlayed $33,000 plus yesterday for profit of just $884..the magic of Money Factory and 96 races over two days.
